Dr. Navreet Kamdar brings experience in private practice, advanced residency training and dental education to Randolph Family Dental. She takes time to educate and comfort her patients, with the goal of making each dental visit positive, pleasant and memorable.
Education and Residency
Dr. Kamdar graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with honors, and a minor in Biological Sciences.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008. After dental school, she moved to Nashville and completed a General Practice Residency.
Clinical and Teaching Experience
Dr. Kamdar spent four years as an associate dentist in a busy family-owned dental practice in downtown Baltimore. She moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and joined the faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
At UCLA, Dr. Kamdar lectured first- and second-year students on dental fundamentals and supervised fourth-year dental students during their general dentistry clinical rotations. She also practiced as an associate dentist in Sherman Oaks.
Dr. Kamdar and her family moved to San Diego in August 2018, and she now cares for patients at Randolph Family Dental in Solana Beach.

Her Approach to Patient Care
As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Kamdar is committed to continued learning and the application of evidence-based dental practices.
She is a strong patient advocate who believes that clear explanations and compassionate care help patients feel comfortable and confident about their dental health.
Outside the Office
Dr. Kamdar enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her interests include traveling, exploring the outdoors, discovering the local food scene and keeping up with Bollywood movies and music.
An avid runner, she has completed two marathons and hopes to complete more when her children are ready to join her.
