Dr. Robert “Bob” Randolph is a Solana Beach native and second-generation dentist. After growing up around the dental practice his parents established in 1971, he returned home to practice alongside his father and continue his family’s tradition of caring for local families.
A Solana Beach Dental Legacy
Dr. Bob grew up in Solana Beach and spent time in the dental office operated by his parents, Dr. George A. Randolph and Diane Randolph. George and Diane met while attending dental programs at Northwestern University. A cross-country road trip eventually brought them to Solana Beach, where they opened the Randolph dental practice in 1971.
Following dental school, Dr. Bob returned to Solana Beach and began practicing with his father. His mother worked in the practice as a dental hygienist and office manager. Today, Dr. Bob continues that family legacy at Randolph Family Dental.
Education and Clinical Training
Dr. Bob graduated from Torrey Pines High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific’s dental school in San Francisco.
He graduated in the top 15 percent of his class and was ranked second in clinical treatment. He also received Tau Kappa Omega honors based on scholarship, character, class rank and commitment to the ideals of the profession.

Outside the Office
Dr. Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their three daughters, Sydney, Piper and Kelly. He also enjoys trail running, surfing and spending time near the ocean.
